Return/Refund Policy for Purchases of Step 1 Online or Live Course: Effective June 30, 2011, except as otherwise provided herein, all advance purchases of subscriptions to the Doctors in Training Step 1 course shall be fully refundable for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of purchase (the “Refund Period”), unless the purchase occurs during the thirty (30) day period preceding January 9, 2012 (the date that Part 1 of the 2012 Step 1 course is expected to begin and hereinafter referred to as the “Step 1 Course Start Date”)), in which event the Refund Period relating to such purchase shall expire at 12:00 a.m. (central standard time) on the Step 1 Course Start Date. All purchases of subscriptions to the Doctors in Training 2011 Step 1 course that occur on or after June 30, 2011 and all purchases of subscriptions to the Doctors in Training 2012 Step 1 course that occur after the Step 1 Course Start Date shall not be eligible for a cash refund at any time, but may be exchanged for Learning Credits as described below. No refunds shall be issued in connection with any refund request made after the expiration of the Refund Period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event that any purchaser of the Doctors in Training Step 1 course decides, after the expiration of the Refund Period, but prior to viewing more than ten percent (10%) of the course lectures, that he or she does not wish to view the remaining portion of the course, such person may, in lieu of viewing the course, elect to receive a number of Learning Credits equal to the purchase price (net of applicable sales taxes) that the customer paid for the Step 1 course (based on a Learning Credit conversion price of $3.00 per Learning Credit). Any request to convert the subscription price that the customer paid for the course to Lecture Credits must be made prior to the first to occur of, (i) the expiration of the thirty (30) day access period to the course, or (ii) the one year anniversary of the date the customer purchased access to the course. All Learning Credits shall be redeemable for any Learning Credit-based Doctors in Training product and all Learning Credits shall expire on the four-year anniversary of their issuance. No refunds shall be issued in connection with any refund request made after the expiration of the Refund Period. Return/Refund Policy for OMM: Effective June 30, 2011, all purchases of subscriptions to the OMM Addition, other than OMM bundled products, are non-refundable, however, in the event that any purchaser of the OMM Addition decides prior to beginning to view the online course, that he or she does not wish to view the course, such person may, in lieu of viewing the course, elect to receive a number of Learning Credits equal to the purchase price that the customer paid for the OMM Addition course based on a Learning Credit conversion price of $3.00 per Learning Credit. Any request to convert the subscription price that the customer paid for the course to Learning Credits must be made prior to the one year anniversary of the date the customer purchased access to the course. The Learning Credits shall be redeemable for any Learning Credit-based Doctors in Training product and all Learning Credits shall expire on the four-year anniversary of their issuance. Return/Refund Policy for OMM Bundled Products: Purchases of subscriptions to OMM that are acquired as a bundle with subscription to the Doctors In Training Step 1 course or the Doctors In Training Step 2 CK course shall be subject to the refund policy for the Step 1 or Step 2 CK course set forth above, as the case may be.
Learning Credits (formerly known as Pharmacology Credits or View Credits): Learning Credits are non-refundable. All Learning Credits will expire four (4) years from the date of purchase or issuance.
Course Extensions: Purchases of extensions to the access period of the Step 1 course or the Step 2 CK course are non-refundable.
Lock-in Pricing: All initial payments made in order to secure lock-in pricing of a purchase of a subscription to a future Step 1 or Step 2 CK course are non-refundable.
Advising Products and Services: All purchases of Doctors in Training advising products and services are non-refundable.
