USMLE Exams Can be Taken Overseas
Students that are attending medical school in countries outside of the United States are often confused about where they need to take their USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge examinations. They do not need to travel the United States to sit for the USMLE examinations.
The computerized USMLE examinations are taken at Prometric centers which provide controlled environments following National Board of Medical Examiners guidelines for security. The testing centers are located across the world including China, Africa, Asia, Japan, Europe, and others.
