*** For a 240+ score, choose 5-6 books other than First Aid to review.
*** As you go through each book, make sure you correlate/read/take notes in the corresponding pages in First Aid.
Review Books to strongly consider reading or referencing:
- BRS Pathology (or Goljan)
- BRS Physiology
- Lippincott Biochemistry (or Goljan)
- Lippincott Pharmacology
- Robbins Pathology Chapters 1-7
- HY Neuroanatomy
Important Notes
- Because you will be studying regular medical school material during this time, it will be best to skip around in pages.
- By placing a check mark on the upper right-hand corner of a page completed, you can keep track of what you have already done.
- Meet with a study partner 2-3 times a week so that you can quiz each other over the FA pgs read in previous weeks.
- Look at your medical school schedule now and determine which weeks you will study less for the USMLE and which you will read ahead.
- Each week, set aside a small amount of time to quickly review the FA pages read the previous week.
- If this plan is too difficult, then ditch the 5-6 "Other Books" and use them as reference resources when reviewing First Aid.
- If this plan is still too difficult, then bump the number of weekly questions down to 75-100q/wk.
